Sportsbooks In Massachesetts with the Quickest Withdrawals

Having plenty of payment options available when using sportsbook apps is a big deal for bettors.

Luckily, Massachusetts sportsbooks do a good job of offering a variety of banking methods, some of which you can use for both deposits and withdrawals.

But which apps offer the fastest payouts? This page has you covered.

Fastest paying Massachusetts sportsbooks

Eight sportsbook apps are live right now in Massachusetts, including the beta testing product of Fanatics Sportsbook.

In addition to sleek designs and deep betting markets, these platforms offer a wide variety of Massachusetts sportsbook promos to users. But after your bets have settled, you may be wondering how long it takes to get the winnings from your sportsbook account to your bank account.

So I put it to the test. I withdrew money from a handful of MA sports betting apps to see which ones offered the fastest payouts.

Of all the apps that are available in Massachusetts, I found that DraftKings and FanDuel stand out among the rest as the fastest paying sportsbooks.

Here is a closer look at what I found when withdrawing money from each platform:

BetMGM

In my experience, I found that the fastest payout option with BetMGM Massachusetts is with a debit card. On average, the money will get to your account in less than 24 hours.

When using online banking or ACH bank transfers, you can expect the money to be in your account in 2-4 business days.

One downside to withdrawing money from BetMGM is that BetMGM didn’t keep me in the loop throughout the process. The company didn’t send any email notifications about my transaction being approved or my funds arriving.

So, you’ll have to log in to your bank to see if the funds have arrived.

FanDuel

When using FanDuel Massachusetts, I found that you can withdraw your winnings using the following methods:

  • Online banking
  • Debit card
  • Venmo
  • PayPal
  • Cash at counter
  • Check

The fastest options available are through online banking or a debit card.

When I started the withdrawal process, I got an email from FanDuel the minute I requested my withdrawal. FanDuel then sent another email saying that my request had been approved, and that the money should be in my account within 2-5 business days.

However, the funds arrived in just a matter of minutes. If it takes longer than the 2-5 day time frame, I would recommend reaching out to FanDuel customer support.

Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook Massachusetts states that using a debit card is the fastest withdrawal option. The platform claims these transactions take 30 minutes or less. However, I found that they can take longer than that.

Like FanDuel, Caesars sent me an email once my withdrawal request had been received. That email stated that most transactions are processed within one hour, but may take up to 24 hours.

I then received another email when my transaction had been processed and was sent to my payments vendor. From here, Caesars said that the next step was for my bank to officially process the transaction.

Funds arrived in my account the next day, within 24 hours from when I started the process. So, using a debit card with Caesars can take a bit longer than it does on other platforms.

Transaction time using other methods such as online banking, ACH bank transfers and CP checking all take between 2-5 business days on Caesars.

DraftKings

You can withdraw money from your DraftKings Massachusetts account using a debit card, online banking, PayPal, Venmo or a check.

However, for the fastest results, I found that it is best to use online banking or a debit card. These options put money in your bank account in less than 24 hours. In fact, for me it took just a minute or two.

DraftKings does a good job of keeping you in the loop throughout the process. Once I submitted my withdrawal request, I got an email right away that DraftKings had received my request. Then, I got a separate email that my request is being reviewed.

Once my request was approved, it didn’t take long before I received a third email that my request had been successfully processed. That email also said to allow 24 hours for the bank transfer to arrive. I checked my bank account right away, and the funds were already there. All of these emails were sent in just a matter of minutes and that the funds arrived in my bank account right away.

For the slower options, withdrawals can take 1-2 days using PayPal and Venmo, and 10-14 days with a check.

DraftKings has a $1 minimum for all debit card, online banking and PayPal withdrawals. The minimum is $15 for a check, while withdrawing through Venmo has no minimum.

Barstool Sportsbook

Barstool Sportsbook Massachusetts offers very quick withdrawals. When withdrawing money from the Barstool Sportsbook app, you can use a debit card, online banking or a check. There is a $10 minimum for all of these options.

I have withdrawn money from the Barstool Sportsbook app several times, and with a debit card, I usually see my winnings in my bank account within 30 minutes of my request being approved. I also found that if your bank accepts Instant Payouts, funds will be instantly available in your account. If not, funds will be available in 2-3 days.

Keep in mind that with the Barstool Sportsbook app, using the same payment method for deposit and withdrawal can result in faster service.

WynnBET

The withdrawal options on WynnBET Massachusetts are a little more limited. What stands out is that you cannot use a debit card to withdraw money from WynnBET.

Available options include online banking, PayPal, Play+ and ACH check. All withdrawal options have a minimum of $20, but if you choose to receive a check, there is a minimum of $100. These are high minimums compared to other platforms.

I’ve discovered that payouts typically take up to 48 hours, depending on your preferred method. The fastest option is PayPal or a WynnBET Play+ card. These take about 24-48 hours on average. ACH checks take 3-5 business days.

Betr

Accepted withdrawal options on the Betr Massachusetts app include debit cards, online banking, PayPal, bank transfers via e-wallets and cryptocurrency transfers.

Withdrawals generally process within 24-48 hours for all methods. However, withdrawing with Betr, I’ve noticed that withdrawals can only be processed back to the original method used to deposit. This is different from most other platforms.

The fastest way to process withdrawal transactions on Betr is through online banking and cryptocurrency transfers. Withdrawals are subject to a $10 minimum.

Debit card transaction notes

When withdrawing using a debit card, it’s important to remember that while the money may be in your account just minutes after your withdrawal request, the transaction is technically still pending. Pending transactions are transactions that haven’t been fully processed yet.

This happens with just about all debit card transactions. If you make a purchase with a debit card or credit card, it will almost always show as pending immediately when you view your account online or in a mobile banking app.

So, don’t be alarmed when you check your bank and see that the transaction is technically still pending.

No credit cards allowed for Massachusetts sportsbooks

Massachusetts gamblers cannot use credit cards to place bets at Massachusetts sportsbooks.

This is a Massachusetts law, meaning no licensed online sportsbook in the Bay State can accept deposits via credit card.

Massachusetts is one of a handful of states that don’t allow credit cards for sports wagers, including Iowa, New York, Tennessee and Connecticut. Lawmakers want to prevent residents from racking up debt via sports betting, and preventing credit cards as a payment option is one way to do that.

Don’t be afraid to contact customer support

When moving money from your sportsbook account(s) to your bank account, never hesitate to reach out to customer support. They will be able to answer any question that you may have or solve any problem that you are facing.

Contact information is easy to find, as each Massachusetts sportsbook has a “Get Support” or “Contact Us” tab on their apps. Some platforms even have a live chat feature.

Some representatives are available 24/7, but remember that response times can vary from sportsbook to sportsbook.

For example, the DraftKings customer support team typically has rapid response times, while platforms like Caesars and WynnBET take a bit longer.
