How did I use my Chanced welcome bonus?

Disclaimer: Just like with real-money online casinos, you are never guaranteed to win anything at a sweepstakes casino. If you opt to purchase GC, only spend what you can afford to lose and play responsibly.

With the sign-up bonus and my first daily bonus, I was able to start playing right away. That said, I realized quickly that Chanced’s unusually high wagering requirements made it incredibly difficult to substantially build up my redeemable SC balance.

You must have at least 100 redeemable SC at Chanced before you can request a cash-prize redemption, with 1 SC the equivalent of $1. With the 10x playthrough requirement, that meant I had to wager at least 23 SC to make my 2.3 SC redeemable, although of course I’d need to build up to 100 SC before I could make a request.

I started out using my GC and found some slots I had luck with that had higher return-to-player (RTP) rates. I then started to think about using my SC. I would normally also seek out some table games to help clear any playthrough requirements, but was disappointed to find that many of Chanced’s table games don’t count towards them.

The most success I had at Chanced early on was with the Gates of Olympus slot, a game I’ve enjoyed at other sweepstakes casinos. I won over 7 SC but lost most of it as I continued my frustrating quest to clear the playthrough requirements.

I continued to stick to slots that had RTP rates above 96% and played a lower amount of SC per spin (between 0.10-0.50) so as to not lose most of my SC too quickly. But I was still unable to clear the wager requirements on my bonus SC after a few hours of playing. I was only 36% of the way through the requirements after my first day on the site.

Will I keep playing at Chanced?

I really liked the games offered at Chanced and the various bonus opportunities available, which compare well to those at sites like Pulsz and Jackpota. But the super-high playthrough requirements on most bonus SC is a huge turnoff and minimizes their value.

If Chanced were to drop those requirements down to the industry standard, I likely would keep playing. Chanced did drop the 3x playthrough requirement on the free SC you receive from GC purchases down to 1x, so maybe they’d also consider loosening the restrictions on other bonus SC.

The first registration steps were pretty standard. I had to choose a username and password and provide my date of birth, email address and state. But then Chanced asked me to complete three out of five tasks that required me to follow the sweepstakes casino on their social media sites and Telegram.

That might not seem like a ton of extra legwork, but I was initially unable to complete the final sign-up steps due to them not working on my Firefox desktop browser or the Safari browser on my iPhone. What’s missing from the library?

The only non-slot games offered at Chanced are live dealer games. You won’t find any non-live table games, like video poker or blackjack, which I’ve enjoyed having the option to play at sites like Pulsz. How quickly did I get a response?

When I connected with Chanced customer support and asked a few questions, I received stock answers that didn’t adequately address more nuanced queries. I then turned to the support email and was pleasantly surprised to get an answer back within 15 minutes. That’s much faster than the customer support at many other sweepstakes casinos, which can take several hours to respond.

Unfortunately, the customer support response via email wasn’t entirely helpful. If you’re still on the fence about the Chanced sweepstakes casino
