Casino sports betting: Massachusetts Retail Casinos Prepare For Sports Betting

Upcoming Massachusetts Sports Betting Launch

MGM Springfield is expected to offer retail sports betting in late January or early February, according to public hearings of the MGC in October. This means the casino could take bets for the Super Bowl on Feb. 12. The resort has sports betting lounges ready for customers as soon as a final date is approved. MGM Springfield’s TAP Sports Bar also has a sports betting area that is ready for bettors.

Massachusetts online sports betting will come later, possibly as early as March. For the casino, bettors can make wagers via the BetMGM app and accrue MGM Rewards points redeemable for entertainment, dining, and hotel perks.
