Fanatics Sportsbook is now live in Massachusetts — at least the beta version is. Not every interested bettor in Massachusetts will be able to get access right away. Existing Fanatics customers will get first dibs.
So, for those who can’t see it … how does the app look? What’s the color scheme?
Luckily, Fanatics Sportsbook Massachusetts provided PlayMA a screenshot. Take a look right here:
As you can see, Fanatics is going with a sleek, clean, black-and-white color scheme with a prominent “Promos” section easily accessible at all times. You’ll always be able to see how much money you have in the upper-right-hand corner, and you’ll also be able to see how many bonus bets you have — that figure will be in purple.
Fanatics launched in MA on Thursday
Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Massachusetts (its beta version) on Thursday.
Existing Fanatics customers who are eligible to bet will receive an invitation with a code to sign up for the app. Bettors who aren’t existing customers can download the iOS or Android app and join a waitlist.
Fanatics also announced its Massachusetts sports betting sign-up bonus for new customers on the beta version: $200 in bonus bets after placing a wager of $5 or more. Terms and conditions apply.
Fanatics relying on merchandise customers
Fanatics will rely heavily on its existing list of customers of its merchandise and apparel business in order to quickly build a list of sports betting customers.
It attempted to leverage that merchandise power in Ohio by offering apparel customers bonus bets equal to the amount of a certain merchandise or apparel purchase. However, Ohio quickly asked Fanatics to pull that offer. In addition, a Fanatics Sportsbook spokesperson told PlayMA that Fanatics will not be offering that merchandise bonus offer in Massachusetts.
Fanatics became a household name as the most dominant player in the sports apparel and merchandise space. Now, it will attempt to carve out a significant chunk of the sports betting market, starting off be being as competitive as possible among the MA sports betting welcome promos.
It’s currently giving $200 in bonus bets as its offer for beta users.
