DraftKings Sportsbook, the sports betting platform with the strongest ties to Massachusetts, is tapping into a new partnership in the Commonwealth.

DraftKings is teaming up with Harpoon Brewery for a limited edition 12-pack of the popular brew. The move marks yet another local advertising campaign for the Boston-based sports betting platform.

Massachusetts sports betting is live, and DraftKings was among the first online sportsbooks to launch on March 10.

The Rec. League Get In The Game! 12-pack comes in branding packages that will please Massachusetts sports fans of both the Celtics and Red Sox. The special 12-packs will be available at select locations in Massachusetts, as well as at Harpoon Brewery retail locations.

The release celebrates the playoff run by the Celtics, the new season for the Red Sox and the launch of the DraftKings Massachusetts app in the state.

During the Celtics’ NBA playoff run, Harpoon has operated a pop-up Beer Garden on Canal Street during each Celtics home game. DraftKings has joined Harpoon Brewery for select games to hand out prizes and assist eligible fans with signing up for a sports betting account on their app.

Commercials with a local angle have also been a focus for DraftKings. For example, DraftKings paid Boston legends Lenny Clarke, David Ortiz, Zdeno Chara and Brian Scalabrine to headline a “Bet Local” Draft Kings commercial that began airing in Massachusetts on March 10. So far, it’s been a hit.

The online sports betting industry is still new to Massachusetts, but so far, DraftKings has impressed in its home state. DraftKings MA was the leading mobile operator in the state in both handle and gross gaming revenue in April.

DraftKings Network on Samsung TV Plus

In addition to local marketing efforts, DraftKings is also thinking on a national scale as well.

Fans can see even more from DraftKings this spring with the debut of the DraftKings Network, available on Samsung TV Plus.

The free ad-supported TV service (FAST) is streamed to millions of Samsung Smart TVs, Galaxy devices, Family Hub appliances and also free on the internet. It comes bundled on most new Samsung TVs and is available as an app on any Samsung device.

DraftKings Network on Samsung TV Plus will broadcast programming 24 hours a day, seven days a week. DraftKings is the first sportsbook in the US to have a FAST broadcasting deal.

“In bringing together some of the most authentic sports and entertainment voices under one umbrella, DraftKings Network is the destination for ‘In on the Action’ sports fans and content they love,” Stacie McCollum, Vice President of Content at DraftKings, said in a statement announcing the new channel.

The lineup for the DraftKings Network will include shows hosted by Dan Le Batard, Mike Golic Jr. and Mike Golic Sr., Jessica Smetana, and NFL podcaster Ross Tucker. Two other comedy and pop culture programs will also be on the schedule. One will be hosted by former NFL player and “football funnyman” Andrew Hawkins, and the other is a basketball program with Amin El Hassan and Charlotte Wilder.

Viewers of DraftKings Network will also see the latest betting odds and scores for action around the sports world at the bottom of the screen on a scroller.
